Day 1 of our orientation camp, all five of us took our friend's car, but once we reached RI, we split up to join up with our respective classes. I didn't know anybody in my class, and it was a little awkward during lunch. The school has really high standards and is very strict. We had to shout 'Yes/no, Sir!" in reply to the teacher's questions, and we had to do it in unison (which is pretty hard considering we have 450 students in a batch, most of whom I barely know). Then we had drills, "On your feet!" "Too slow! Sit down!"  "Stand up!" over and over again until we could all do it good and proper. The entire morning of the day was spent memorizing the Institution Anthem, the Principle of Honour, and the school cheers. Lunch was a little weird, but filling nonetheless. And so, through shared experience 1F bonded together as a class. After which we participated in a trail around to school to find materials in order to craft our class flag. There wasn't enough time to complete every station, so we only managed to find a 1. pole, 2. white cloth. And to this my classmate said, "A pole and a white cloth ONLY? We're better off making a flag of surrender!" LOL. Then back to the hall for assembly, and the discipline master told us to empty our bags for inspection. We didn't lay them out within the time limit, so we had to repack them, and unpack them AGAIN. Dinner was better, and we played a "bomb" game, where one class starts of by saying "1E bomb, 1E bomb, 1E bomb to 1F bomb!" Then 1F passes the bomb to somebody else, and anyone who lags and hits the wrong rhythm loses.. Lastly, shower time. Each class of 30+ students had to share their own toilet of 8 cubicles and shower time was only 20 minutes long, so each student only got 3 minutes to shower. :'(
